IAN MILNE

Mr. Milne brings over forty years of energy sector knowledge to Critical Control, holding significant leadership roles in engineering operations and business management. He was the CEO of SPL from 2015 until 2018, managing the business through a transformative time leading to a change in ownership. 

Prior to that Mr. Milne was with Wood Group where he led the growth of its US Pressure Control business into a market leading service provider in upstream drilling operations, becoming the business’ CEO until its acquisition by GE in 2011 where he remained until 2014. Mr. Milne has a degree in Offshore and Mechanical Engineering from Robert Gordon’s University in Aberdeen, Scotland and completed the Harvard Business School’s General Management Program (GMP-3) in 2007.
